The new Air Arms Galahad is the latest rifle from the British Based firm, and comes in the shape of a 'Sportpup' PCP rifle in a variety of different choices.
The advantage of a sportpup, or bullpup, format is that the action is seated at the rear of the stock, meaning that the rifle is very short and manoeuvrable, whilst still maintaining a long air cylinder and barrel for superb performance characteristics.
The Galahad features the same reliable and robust 10 shot magazine as the S410 and S510 actions do, but it is cocked and loaded via a lever action. This lever action moves in a downward motion to cock and load the rifle, which minimises movement during cocking and loading so you can stay on target. This lever can also be reversed to either side to make a truly ambidextrous rifle.
The barrel is a Lothar Walther unit of course, and it is fully shrouded with an internal thread to fit an additional sound moderator. The stocks are made to the highest standards, with chequered panels to the front end and underside, with an adjustable butt pad. All are fully ambidextrous as well.
